It only took a week into my new corporate finance role for me to decide I'm a 'self care' person now.
I was scrolling on Instagram when all of a sudden I saw a post with maybe 50 likes and she had made a little checklist in her notes app of realistic daily goals for herself. Her list included things like: drinking only tea, 45 minutes of exercise, and reading daily. If she can do it so can I. Sooooooo, here's my list:
30 days of wellness:
7-8 hours of sleep daily
1 hour minimum workout daily (must include a run)
Tea and water only
Read 20 pages of a book daily
One hour cumulative limit on social media
Duo Lingo daily (New Years resolution)
Today is technically the first full day of this new and improved lifestyle so I have to head to the library to grab a new book (Finance for Dummies?), and to Trader Joe's to pick up some different teas. Hopefully I become more well rounded and productive throughout the process, but I'll keep you posted;)
